Warm Cinnamon Chocolate Sauce

This sauce is the perfect partner for vanilla or coffee ice cream.



4 oz (113 g) bittersweet chocolate, chopped
2 oz (57 g) milk chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup (125 mL) milk
2 tbsp (30 mL) butter
2 tbsp (30 mL) granulated sugar
2 tbsp (30 mL) whipping cream
1/2 tsp (2 mL) cinnamon


In saucepan, heat together bittersweet and milk chocolates, milk and butter over medium-low heat, stirring, until smooth.

Stir in sugar, cream and cinnamon; cook, stirring, until sugar is dissolved, about 1 minute. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. (Make-ahead: Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 2 weeks; reheat gently until pourable.)
