Slow Cooker Creamy Chipotle Chicken

An easy, creamy chicken dish made in the slow cooker gets a smoky kick from chipotle peppers. It’s nice to serve with hot cooked rice.




4 boneless, skinless chicken breast, halves
14 cup butter, melted
1 salt, to taste
1 ground black pepper, to taste
2 clove garlic, minced
1 can (10.75 ounce) condensed cream of chicken soup
12 cup chicken broth
1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese, cut into cubes
3 chipotle pepper, in adobo sauce, minced
1 tbsp adobo sauce, from chipotle peppers


  1. Place chicken breasts into a slow cooker, brush with butter, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Pour in cream of chicken soup and chicken broth and add cream cheese, peppers, and adobo sauce. Stir the mixture gently. Cover, set the cooker to Low, and cook for 6 hours.
