This healthy ground turkey casserole recipe is one of those meals. It is one of our earliest recipes we created for The Dinner Daily and no surprise it is one of our members’ favorites! It is hearty and filling and paired with a simple green veggie or salad makes for an easy and healthy weeknight meal. Also, although we did it with ground turkey, you could swap out the turkey for ground beef if you prefer.
Can I Freeze It?
Yes. Got a friend who just had a baby? You are having a baby? This casserole is perfect for freezing.
To freeze casserole: assemble, tightly wrap with plastic and then foil, and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight and bake as per instructions + 15 minutes.
