To wrap the body parts in a plastic wrap is a very popular method for losing weight. However, do you know what happens to your body when you wrap your stomach and you go to sleep?
This woman tested the technique and she was amazed by the results. “After 3 births, my stomach was no longer flat and attractive. I was persuaded by a friend to buy seaweed lotion, plastic wrap and bandages, in order to achieve weight loss”, says Coleen. The woman applied a thick layer of a lotion on her stomach and put the bandages before she went to sleep and she woke up amazed! “When I got up, I took off the bandages and wrap and I measured my waist. I was so shocked. I lost 2.5 inches for one night”, says the lady.
The secret of this technique is in the loss of accumulated water. The summer period is great for the method because of the additional perspiration. However, you have to combine the technique with some exercises and proper diet or the results will be short-lived due to the water compensation.
Here is how to try this technique by yourself.
DIY body wrap supplies. Ingredients needed:
- Seaweed, mud or kelp lotion
- Bandage wrap
- Clear plastic wrap
First, you need to apply a thick layer of the lotion on the affected area, just make sure it is not completely rubbed in. Next, wrap the whole area with the plastic wrap several times, and make sure it’s no very tight. Finally, wrap the area with some bandage and cover the plastic entirely. Secure everything well and you can go to sleep.
The first idea of the wraps is to help your body to release the water that is retained in your body and the lotion and the plastic wrap combination is ideal since it makes you sweat. Coleen recommends this technique to anyone.
