Red Velvet Cheesecake Cake

Homemade cream cheese frosting plus a layer of cheesecake in this delicious cake! PERFECT for Parties or Valentine’s!


  • 1 box Red Velvet cake mix {including box ingredients – oil, eggs, water}
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 8 oz. cube cream cheese
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¾ 8 oz. cube cream cheese
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 2½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 TB milk


  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Make Red Velvet Cake Mix as directed on the back of the box. Set aside.
  3. Mix 8 oz. block of cream cheese, sugar and egg white in a separate bowl until well blended.
  4. Pour half of the red velvet cake mix into a greased 9×13. Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture over the red velvet cake mix. Swirl all over the batter.
  5. Pour the other half of the cake batter over this cream cheese layer.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Once baked, take out and let cool.
  7. For the frosting, mix cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and milk until smooth.
  8. Spread frosting over cake and enjoy!
