Honey Lime Shrimp

Shrimp caramelized with honey, garlic, spicy red pepper flakes, and lime.

  • ½-1 pound large shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • juice of 2 limes
  • 2 teaspoons garlic
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • optional: cooked white rice
  1. Add shrimp and all marinade ingredients to a large ziplock bag. Press as much air out of the bag as possible. Chill 25 minutes, flipping the bag once or twice throughout. Cook shrimp over medium-high heat in a large pan. Stir though out, making sure to flip the shrimp as they turn pink. Cook 4-5 minutes total. Serve over rice if desired. Enjoy!
