Ginger Soy Chicken

Your slow cooker or oven can work delicious magic with our chicken dinner to fix and forget.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup garlicminced
  • 1/4 cup fresh ginger rootpeeled and grated
  • 1 cup honey
  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts

Directions :

  • cook the soy sauce, garlic, ginger and honey in a small saucepan over very low heat until combined and honey is melted.  arrange the chicken  in 1 layer in a shallow pan, skin side down and pour on sauce.  cover with aluminum foil and marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
  • heat oven to 350 degrees.  place baking pan in oven for 25 minutes, uncover pan, turn chicken skin side up and cook for another 20 minutes or until juices run clear.
