Water is good, but it can be messy, and wiping your glasses with your shirt doesn’t remove the smudges effectively. But, you shouldn’t worry no more – we have a few simple methods that will clean your glasses and make them look as good as new!
Mustard And Vinegar
Using dry mustard and vinegar, make a paste and apply to your glasses. Make sure the surface is dry before application. Leave the paste on to dry properly dry. Then wash glasses off as usual. Please note that dry mustard is very dangerous to eyes. So please avoid contact with your eyes while handling dry mustard.
Did you know that regular toothpaste can clean your glasses perfectly? Rub some on the lenses with a soft cloth and rinse with cold water in the end. Trust us – you’ll be amazed by the results!
Baking soda is a bit abrasive, but mixing it with water creates a fine paste that will make your glasses spotless. Just rinse with cold water in the end and your glasses will be cleaner than ever!
Best scratch removal method
To remove the scratches from the lenses, put some toothpaste on both sides and rub with a paper towel in circular motion. This will keep the lenses polished and clean, and you’ll be able to see clearer.
Rubbing Alcohol And Baking Soda
Use one part rubbing alcohol and one part vinegar to make a paste. Then use a soft cloth to rub the lens. Rinse and dry properly.
Useful tip: Always use a lint free cloth when cleaning or trying to remove or improve scratches. Also, if scratches are stubborn, you may need to repeat a method twice or so. Another great idea would be to use more than one methods.
