Creamy Cheese Grits

Authentic Southern creamy cheese grits are perfect for a weekend brunch.

1 cup milk
1 tsp sugar
1⁄2 tsp sea salt
1⁄4 cup grits
2 oz sharp cheddar cheese

Directions :

Heat the milk, sugar and salt to boiling.  Add grits and reduce heat to simmer for 7 to 8 minutes.  Add the cheese and leave in a creamy consistency.  Add more scalded milk if necessary.
