Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry

Make a quick weeknight dinner with this stir-fry recipe mixing chicken, broccoli, and onion in a mixture of soy sauce, ginger, and brown sugar.

Everyone has a favorite sitting spot where they just like to sit in think. Whether its a chair in the living room, a desk in your office, the throne in the bathroom (LOL) or in the kitchen – we all have that special thinking place. Mine is out in my porch swing on the front porch. I love my porch. I have one of those wrap around porches. I have made it my peaceful place to be with the chairs and plants that I like to look at.

My porch is my sanctuary and happy place. If I need a minute to myself to think or unwind from the day I will go outside and give that porch swing a good sitting! I like to go out there and think about what I am going to make for dinner for the family. I always seem to get inspired.

The other day I was sitting out there, thinking about what to make for dinner the following day. Then a yummy smell hit my nose that was coming from my neighbors house. I knew that smell, it was a delicious stir fry cooking up. I thought to myself that a stir fry would be the perfect dinner that I would make. I hadn’t made one in a while and didn’t want to have chicken. I decided on this delicious recipe – beef and broccoli. Boy oh boy was it scrumptious!
