Thanks to Tiphero.com, we just learned a simple and inexpensive way to keep your headlights working full power all the time. You are going to want to run out to the garage as soon as you are done watching this video.
o get your headlights working as good as new, you will need toothpaste (not the gel kind), water, wax, a cloth, spray bottle, and a toothbrush. If the toothpaste is not very gritty, you may also need to add a little baking soda to the mix.
Using your hand, rub the toothpaste into the headlight thoroughly. You will need the toothbrush to get into all the little spots and to really scour the surface. Next, spray the headlight with warm water and wash and dry the headlight completely. now , cover the headlight with wax and buff the wax off. Now your headlights should be as bright as the day you brought the car home for the first time.
This neat trick got us to thinking about all the other great uses for toothpaste. Of course, there is the issue of good dental hygiene, but you can use toothpaste all over the house. Check it out.
