Best Banana Pancakes

Crowd pleasing banana pancakes made from scratch. A fun twist on ordinary pancakes



  • 2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 Cup Skim Milk
  • ½ Cup Club Soda
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 mashed ripe bananas
  1. In a large bowl, mix mash together bananas, milk, club soda, and egg. Set aside
  2. Sift together over banana mixture, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon
  3. Mix until well blended, but don’t mix too much or will be tough. Mix the batter just until all ingredients are wet.
  4. Pour onto hot griddle and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. Flip when bubbles are beginning to form.
  5. Makes 8 large pancakes or 16 small pancakes.
