Crayon stains on the wall? All you need is a little bit of mayonnaise. Simply place some on the marks, allow it to sit for a few moments and wipe it away with a damp cloth.
Your filthy oven can be cleaned overnight, with the use of a spray bottle filled with a mixture of baking soda and water. Fill a second spray bottle with vinegar and add it to the mix and you can get rid of the oven gunk with ease.
To get rid of your children’s funky foot odors, use a mix that is comprised of 15 percent baking soda, 15 percent salt and 70 percent rice. Place the mix in the shoes and let it work its magic overnight.
For tough carpet stains, lemon essential oil and hydrogen peroxide do the trick. Two parts water, one part hydrogen peroxide, a few drops of lemon oil and a spray bottle are the necessary supplies. Soak the stain and then hit it with a scrubbing brush.
Excess glitter left over after arts and crafts time? Not to worry, a lint roller will pick that right up.
If your home has unsightly marker stains on its hardwood floors, apply some toothpaste and use a damp cloth to wipe the marker away for good.
